Full Moon Slaughter

Edited by Toneye Eyenot

Let us begin this journey with a classic subject: the werewolf.

Official Synopsis: “Even a man who is pure at heart and who says his prayers by night, may become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms and the Autumn Moon is bright.”

This quote, made famous from the 1941 werewolf film classic, The Wolf Man, is the embodiment of the terror within man of that which can’t be controlled – The beast which resides within us all. The curse (or blessing, depending on one’s perception) of the werewolf has inspired many films and many books, which now brings us to Full Moon Slaughter. Within this tome, you will find a large and diverse collection of tales; stories which are dark, brutal and haunting. Tales true to the wolf or other shifter within. Accounts of Lycanthropy, of curses, lunatic carnage and full moon mayhem. Welcome to the slaughter. It’s time to unleash the beast within!

Who knew there were so many ways to tell a werewolf tale. Full Moon Slaughter is an incredibly diverse assortment of werewolf stories.  Some favor classic telling.  Some shed a different moonlight on the legends.  Some are wholly unique to the subgenre.

With a collection this diverse, you will have favorites and not so favorites, but all of the stories are entertaining in their own right.  They range from the darkly romantic to the powerfully violent.  While I would not personally give each and every story a 5-star rating, the collection as a whole deserves the rating of 5 stars for that reason.  Much of a Review is subjective to personal preference and all of the stories are different, both in content and style.  I believe there truly is something here for every taste, provided you have a taste for the lycan.

I have never beheld a collection with such purposeful mixture of styles.  Discover the many facets of the legend that manifests with the full moon.  Explore the many tales of the werewolf in Full Moon Slaughter.
