By Cory Cline
McCarthy’s Grove has seen its share of horrors over the years and two best friends are braving the darkness of the trees that border the cursed land hiding the body of a farmer who died of starvation over a century ago.
Alex and Mike will learn this Halloween night that good intentions can be deadly.
Nothing can really prepare you for what you are about to read. From the horrific legend the boys are checking out, to the events that ensue, the story grips you and the ending throws you to the floor. This was not the predictable tale I expected.
The characters are fun and the action and suspense are exquisitely entertaining. Cline skillfully combines dark humor and graphic horror in this fun and nauseating read.
I look forward to reading more from this author.
